It’s for me
Mostly inspired by something I’ve experienced
Or something I’m feeling that I want
To express
Or, you know
Something that I feel other people could relate to
It’s never one thing
It’s something that someone may have suggested that I talk about
I thought, okay
Yeah
Actually, I would like to talk about that
Because after thinking about it for a while
What I could say about that
What do I feel about that topic
It’s never one thing
I may see something
It may be a line from something I’ve heard on television
Or something I’ve seen on a billboard that inspires like a whole poem
Or a whole thought
Or it could be a line in a song that I hear
And that could inspire a poem Because I see things like in movie form as well
It’s like poetry in motion, funny
Yeah, it’s never one thing
The inspiration for my writing comes from so many different places
My childhood
Things I grew up seeing and hearing and experiencing
To adult life and experiences there
And here
It’s never one thing
My inspiration doesn’t come from one place
I draw from so many different things
And people and experiences and places
Travel is a big one as well
So it’s never one thing that inspires my poetry
I’m inspired by poetry itself
I’ve written poems about poetry, if that makes sense
It’s inspired by so many different things
Life in general
From birth to death
And everything in between is poetry
We are poetry
Our existence is poetry
When you look at life and the process of life
And how it comes to be
And how it is
And how it ends
It’s very poetic
It’s poetry in motion
I feel poetry is our way of capturing that what we experience in life
And that becomes the poetry
Life is poetry
