soda Lyrics – Sacri

soda Lyrics by Sacri

I got a cup and a straw from the cashier
I wonder what I will drink
I wonder what I will think
I could get a Fanta

I could get Coca-Cola
I could get a root beer
In my eye I form a tear
I wonder about all of the drinks in the world

But after that drink I had I think I hurled
I don’t remember much
It was all blurry and such
But I just had a hunch

That the soda I had was bad at lunch
I felt all sick and stuff
My body had had enough
What was even in that drink

But I think it brought me to the brink
It could have been a Fanta
It could have been a Coca-Cola
It could have been a root beer

But this was all my greatest fear
I could have had a Dr Pepper
I could have had a lemonade
That’s not a soda at all

But it might have been better to sit and stall
I should have gotten a lemonade
I feel my vision fade
Whatever that soda was could not have stayed

After all of it I felt like I’d been played
It could have been a Fanta
It could have been a Coca-Cola
It could have been whatever the hell

I lay there on the ground now, just a shell
Standing there at the funeral
Everybody watched me go down
Now I’m buried in the ground

My tombstone says
They had had just enough
Soda
